Born
and raised in Illinois, Eric Luedde developed
an interest in various outdoor adventures at
a young age. Camping, hunting and fishing have
continued to consume much of his free time as
an adult.
Following a job transfer
to Alaska in early 2003, Eric became his own
tour guide. He enjoys the solitude that is found
in the enchanting state whether it be three
miles from downtown Anchorage or thirty miles
from the nearest dirt road. He continues to
explore the state and is always searching for
another favorite location.
Eric became interested
in photography after moving to the "far white
north". Serving as memories of the flora, fauna
and geography he has been privileged to witness,
many of Eric's shots are taken on four-wheel
or snow machine excursions. What had begun as
a hobby is now a way of life with midnight treks
up a mountain to catch the aurora borealis and
week long journeys to photograph bald eagles.
As he has captivated his
family, friends and co-workers with his breathtaking
shots, Eric has decided to make his stunning
collection available to the public. He hopes
you find his photos a pleasure to view.
Eric and Mercy reside
in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska with their
3 daughters, Xena, McKaylie and Keasiya.
